Banks & Change

All over Brazil and in the city of Fortaleza you can withdraw cash using your Visa and MasterCard credit cards.
If you have US dollars or Euros, you can change them in the banks and in some Travel Agencies, as well as in several Hotels which provide this service. They will always apply the official exchange rate, which is the one established by the Banco do Brasil.
Most banks are open from Monday to Friday from 10,00 to 16,00; banks are closed during the weekend.
