Transportation

Considering its continental extension, Brazil has developed an internal air service which is one of the bests in the world. Three major companies fly internally, and they are supported in the different regions by commuter carriers, thus large cities are linked to most of the medium and small ones with regularly-scheduled flights. Network of paved roads and highways is increasing and, except for the Amazon regional (due to heavy rains), it is now possible to go by bus from one centre to another. Intercity coach service is frequent, punctual and inexpensive, despite the great distances.
