Brazil is a continental  country with 180 million habitants and it  has a  territorial extension of 8.547.403,5 km² , with  one of the richest biodiversities in the planet.

Considered  a country in development Brazil has very good performance in some areas that distinguish itself from the world. The treatment on Cleft Lip and Palate is one of them,  that set us in the same standard level of the developed countries due to the good skills of our professionals , their  enrollment  with ethics and the commitment of the interdisciplinary teams.

It is a great honor and an enormous satisfaction to our country to hold for the first time in the South America, the International Congress on Cleft Lip and Palate and Related Craniofacial Anomalies on September 10^th to 13^th, 2009.

To bring this Congress to Brazil was the dream of the eminent Brazilian physician Cassio Raposo do Amaral, M.D., PhD, one of the pioneers in the interdisciplinary treatment of Cleft Lip and who founded SOBRAPAR, one of the most respectful Centers specialized in Craniofacial Anomalies treatment settled in Campinas - Brazil.

With his death, on September 2nd 2005, Cassio Raposo do Amaral, became the Honor President of the 11^th International Congress on Cleft Lip and Palate and Related Craniofacial Anomalies, that will be held in his homage. Our challenge is to make a Congress with the importance of his dreams.

We  invite  professionals of multidisciplinary teams from Centers all over the World that Study and treat Cleft Lip and Palate patients to join us in this remarkable event.
